To enable the feature, go to the System Management > General > Project Settings section and select the “Global” tab. Enable the “CCPA API & Reporting” option in the “CCPA Unsubscribe” sub-tab and click the “Save” button to complete. Copy the generated CCPA link under the enabled option. You can use this link on your websites, forms, email messaging, etc.
Use the “Total Sync Rules” list to create rules for the unsubscribe data to be pinged into the E-Delivery and Opt-Intel contact lists. Each rule can be filtered by Product, Publisher, and Website.
To add a new rule, click the “Add” button and fill in the following information:
Product: Select the Product. To apply the rule for all products, select the “*” option.
Publisher: Select the Publisher from which the unsubscribe link-generated data is received. To apply the rule for all Publishers, select the “*” option.
Website: Enter the website address (string value, up to 254 symbols) the unsubscribe request is coming from.
List Type: Select the type of the list to send the unsubscribe data (email or phone number) according to the created rule:
E-delivery contact list.
Opt-Intel email list.
Opt-Intel phone list.
List ID(s): Enter the corresponding list IDs (up to three lists per rule) from E-delivery or Opt-Intel components according to the selected list type.
Click the “Save” button to confirm the changes.To add the CCPA link for your form, go to the System Management > Products section, select the preferable product from the list, and click the “Settings” button in the “Actions” column. Select the “Additional Form Settings” tab and insert the CCPA link you copied before in the “Form Unsubscribe Link” field.
To set custom unsubscribe links for each option from the “Additional Options for Form Unsubscribe Link” field, add links in the following format: ca=http://usubscribewebsite1.com / fl=http://usubscribewebsite2.com / etc.
Every option should be added as a separate line.
Fill in the “Additional Options for Form Unsubscribe Link” field to attach the additional options for the form unsubscribe links. These options will be added to your JS From along with the unsubscribe feature.
Example: Enter the list of state abbreviations and state names that will be displayed in the unsubscribe pop-up window: ca=California, fl=Florida, etc. Every option should be added as a separate line.
You may use the Global Unsubscribe option as a default link. Read more about the Global Unsubscribe feature in the Knowledge Base.
To add a message that will be displayed in the unsubscribe pop-up window, enter the text into the “Message before Additional Options” field.
Example: We take your privacy seriously. In order to process your request, we require your personally identifiable information ("PII").
Click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
The unsubscribe form parameters:
Email (email): The email address is required.
Phone Number (phone): The phone number is required.
Custom Fields (customField1 / customField2 / customField3): The custom parameters are configured according to your preference.
UUID (uuid): The UUID identifier of the form that allows you to obtain the publisher’s ID for the reporting.
Publisher ID (pubID): The publisher’s ID.
Requests (do_unsubscribe / do_delete / do_third_party): At least one of the options should be selected.
SSN (shortSSN): The SSN is required.
Date of Birth (dob): The date of birth is required.
