To configure the postback, go to the Offers > Manage Offers section, click the “Configure” button for the offer you would like to add a postback to and select the “Postbacks” tab.

The Postbacks section contains the following information:

  • ID: The unique identification number of the postback.

  • Affiliate: The name of the Affiliate for which the conversions are tracked.

  • Goal: The goal column will be displayed with the default value in case it was previously enabled in the offer (optional).

  • Conversion Status: The status of the tracked conversion that will trigger a postback.

  • URL: The third-party service link for the integration.

  • HTTP Type: The type of the request.

  • Created: The date and time of the postback creation.

  • Updated: The date and time of the last postback update.

To create a new callback, click the “New Callback” button in the “Action” column.

Fill in the following fields in the “New Postback” pop-up window:

  • Affiliate: Select the Affiliate for which the conversions are tracked, and that will be one of the conditions to trigger a postback.

  • Offer Goal: Select the goal that will be one of the conditions to trigger the postback. This field is available only when the “Enabled Goals” option is enabled.

  • Conversion Status: Select the status of the tracked conversion that will be one of the conditions to trigger the postback (Pending, Done, Rejected).

  • URL: Enter the third-party service link for the integration.

  • HTTP Type: Select the type of request (GET, POST(FORM), POST(JSON)).

  • Basic Auth: Enter the token or login and password to integrate with the third-party service.

  • Request Params: Define which parameters you want to send with this postback.

  • Request Headers: Define which headers you want to send with this postback.

Press the “Save” button to complete the action.

The following conditions should be met to trigger a callback:

  • The system received a new conversion that fulfills all conditions for the postback (“Affiliate”, “Conversion Status”, and “Offer Goal”) in case it matches the postback settings.

  • For each update of the “Conversion Status”, the system checks if the postback conditions are fulfilled and trigger the postback.

You can set postback for each goal of the offer separately, using different postback conditions. When a new conversion for the specific goal enters the system, all the postbacks for this goal that meet postback conditions are triggered. If you turn off the “Enabled Goals” option for an offer, the “Offer Goal” condition will not be considered as required for the postback, and only the “Affiliate” and “Conversion status” conditions will be checked for new conversions. When you turn on the “Enabled Goals” option again, the previous postback settings regarding the “Offer Goal” are restored.
