Please follow this guide to create an Email Campaign. The following steps need to be performed in this particular order.

  1. Go to the Email Campaigns > Campaigns section and click the “Add Campaign” button.

  2. Fill in the name of the campaign in the “Name” field, select the folder in the “Select Folder” field or add a new one in the “Create New Folder” field, then click the “Add” button to complete the action.

3. Click the “Configure” button in the “Action” column to open the campaign settings section.

4. Select the “Global” tab click the “Validate Campaign Settings” button and complete the settings in the tabs highlighted with the red exclamation point

  1. Manage general settings in the “Global” tab. Fill in the name of the campaign in the “Name” field, put the campaign into an existing folder or create a new one in the “Folder” field, attach the label for the campaign in the “Label” field.

    1. In the “List Options” tab you can manage the settings for contact and unsubscribe lists. Select the option in the “Allowed E-Validation Status” field to filter out all email addresses with the statuses that are not matching the selected one here. To enable prioritization of the contact lists put the mark in the “Enable List Priority” checkbox and manage the contact lists ordering using the draggable boxes. Note, that option is available only if two or more lists are chosen in the “Contact Lists” field. Choose the list of the contacts for the campaign in the “Contact Lists” field, select the list for duplicate analysis and contacts’ removal in the “Exclude Lists” field and choose the list of the unsubscribers in the “Unsubscribe List” field.

    2. In the “Campaign Automation” tab you can manage the workflow of the campaign and automate it. The tab contains two blocks. In the “Automation Configuration” block you can choose a campaign type in the “Campaign Type” field. In the “Automation Flow” block you can build campaign flow using the blocks.

      1. If in the “Campaign Type” field “On Demand” option is chosen the campaign will work in the following way - after the setup process campaign will be unstarted. Then on-demand, this campaign will proceed with the Email distribution only one time and after that finish the work.

      2. If the “Campaign Type” field “By Schedule” option is chosen, fill in the scheduled time for the campaign in the “Schedule” field, select the campaign time zone in the “Timezone” field. If you want to use the contact timezone according to the zip code of the country or region check the box in the “Use Contact Timezone” field.

      3. If in the “Campaign Type” field “By Event” option is selected, choose an event type for a campaign triggering in the “Event” field, select the campaign in which a certain action should be done in the “Select Main Campaign” field, and set up the time-limits for the campaign sending in the “Send Campaign After” field using the “Days”, “Hours” and “Minutes” fields.

      4. If in the “Campaign Type” field the “Drip Campaign (Online)” option is chosen fill in the time range for the contact list updating in the “Check Interval” fields and set up the “Time In List” field to determine how much time the new contact should be in the list to match the distribution conditions.

      5. If in the “Campaign Type” field the “By Count In List” option is chosen fill in the number of the contacts for the distribution initiation in the “Emails Count” field. The campaign will initiate the distribution when the number of new contacts in the contact list will be equal to the “Email Count” field and the email will be sent to these contacts.

    3. In the “Template Settings” tab you can manage an existing template for the campaign. If in the “Template Mode” field the “Simple” option is chosen, you can choose the email template for the Campaign in the “Template” field. If in the “Template Mode” field the “A/B Testing” option is selected, fill in the amount of the templates used for the Campaign (max 6) in the “Select Count” field. Choose a winner template based on the “Select Winning Criteria” or “Select Winner After” with a specified amount of time.

    4. In the “Sender’s Channel” tab you can manage the sender configurations, sending, and ESP. In the “Sending Options” block you can set up the pause settings in the “Pause Campaign” field and limitation for the campaign in the “Limiter Enabled” field. In the “ESP Routing” block you can select the sending type in the “Send Type” field and choose channels for sending in the “Select Channel” field. In the “Sender Configuration” block you can choose the “Sender Group” and “Sender ID” fields.


      1. If in the “Pause Campaign” field the “Yes” option is selected you can pause the campaign activity for a certain amount of time. Select the timezone in the “Pause Timezone” field and fill in the time range during which the campaign will be paused in the “Pause Between” and “And” fields.

      2. If in the “Limiter Enabled” field the “Yes” option is selected you can set up the limitation for the number of emails sent per hour. Fill in the email’s quantity limit in the “Per Hour Limit” field and the total number of emails that can be sent for the selected campaign in the “Total Campaign Limit” field.

    5. In the “Filters” tab you can enable or disable the filters for the campaign. Select the “ON” value in the corresponding row to enable the filtration or the “OFF” value to disable.
