Global Postbacks for Affiliate and Advertiser Users
Configure a single global postback at the affiliate or advertiser account level, instead of maintaining a separate postback for every offer.
A Postback is a mechanism for transmitting conversion data. For example, you can send conversion data directly to an advertising platform, an analytics system, or a third-party tracker at the moment a defined event occurs.
The Global Postbacks feature allows affiliate and advertiser users to configure a postback once at the account level and have it applied across their offers, rather than creating and maintaining a separate postback for each offer.
Use case:
An affiliate promotes twelve offers and sends conversion data to the same third-party tracker for all of them. Under offer-level postbacks, the same postback has to be created twelve times, and any change, a new tracker URL, an added parameter, a corrected trigger, has to be repeated twelve times, with the risk that one offer is missed and silently stops reporting.
With Global Postbacks, the affiliate configures the postback once at the account level. Updating the tracker URL is a single edit, and there is no per-offer drift to audit.
Global postbacks and offer-level postbacks are maintained as two separate sets. A postback created at the global level is managed only from the Global Postbacks section, and a postback created inside an offer is managed only from that offer.
To configure the postback as an Affiliate or Advertiser User, go to the Offers > Global Postbacks section.
