# How to Set up Stripe as a Payment Method
## Find out how to set up Stripe as a payment method and integrate it with Phonexa’s platform using this short step-by-step instruction.
In this article, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to integrate your Stripe account with Phonexa’s platform and set up Stripe as a payment method.
1. To integrate your Stripe account with the Phonexa instance, please make sure your Stripe account is active.
2. Log in to your Stripe account and go to the **Developers \> API keys** section of the left-hand menu. The **API keys** page contains the set of **Standard keys** required for further steps of the setup. Please make sure you copy and have the **Publishable** and **Secret keys** ready.

3. Log in to your Books360 account and select the specific Phonexa platform for the accounting.
4. Go to the **Account \> Settings** \> **Payment Methods** tab, select the **“Stripe”** option from the payment methods list, and in the **“Actions”** column, click the **“Configure”** button.

Fill in the following fields in the pop-up window:
- **Active:** Select the **“Enabled”** option.
- **Publishable key:** Enter your Stripe Publishable Key (*see step 2*).
- **Secret Key:** Enter your Stripe Secret Key (*see step 2*).
- **Use Payment Tokens:** Select the **“Enabled”** option to allow the invoices to be processed automatically.
- **Is Refund Available:** Select the **“Enabled”** option to allow refunds for this payment method.
- **Payment Method Types:** Select the methods that will be applied for clients’ payments *(Only Cards, Dynamic).*
- If the ***“Only Cards”***option is selected, the client will be able to pay with the credit card details only.
- If the **“Dynamic”** option is selected, the client will be able to pay via third-party services, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, that are set for the particular Stripe account. *Note that the corresponding services that can be used for the payment should be set and enabled on the Stripe account. *

5\. Click the **“Save”** button to complete the configuration. Once the API credentials are accepted, the Stripe payment method will be activated, and the **“Enabled”** status will be reflected in the “Status” column.
