iClear: Post Code Validation

The “Post Code validation” service allows you to verify the validity of the lead’s zip code through the database of zip codes, and extracts the state from it (for the US region).

There are two services available depending on the region:

  • UK Post Code validation
  • US ZIP Code validation

Note: To use the Post Code validation service, first you should enable it on the System Subscriptions page.

To enable the “US ZIP Code validation” or “UK Post Code validation” service, go to the Fraud and Anomaly > iClear > Lead Processing Rules section and select a Product from the drop-down list.
iclearOnce you select the Product, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Lead Processing Rules (iClear) sub-tab. You may also navigate here by selecting the System Management > Products section on the left-hand menu and clicking on the “Settings” button for the corresponding product (Lead Processing Rules (iClear) sub-tab).
