How to Override Campaign Price For Sold Lead

Find out how to set up the system behavior on Campaign Price = 0, and how to use the Mark Buyer Accept as "0" feature regardless of the set campaign price.

System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0 feature

The “System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0 ” feature on the LMS allows you to set the lead status as “Sold” or “Reject” if a lead was sold to a Campaign with a minimum price set to “0”.

How to Enable the Feature

Go to the System Management > General > Project settings section, select the “LMS & Call Logic” tab, and the “Additional Components” subtab. In the “Advanced tools” block, switch the toggle to the “On” position to enable the “System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0” feature. After the feature is enabled, you can set it up on the Product and the Campaign levels.

Product Level Configuration

To set up the “System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0” feature for the Product, go to the System Management > Products section and click the “Settings” button. Go to the “Advanced Settings” tab and select one of the following options in the “System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0” field: 

  • Select “Mark lead status as sold” to make the system mark the lead status as sold for this Product.
  • Select “Mark lead status as reject, respond publisher with reject” to make the system mark the lead status as reject and respond to the Publisher with reject in this Campaign, for this Product.
  • Select “Mark lead status as reject, respond publisher with sold” to make the system mark the lead status as reject and respond as sold for the Publisher for this Product. Use case: If the lead’s TTL is 0, it will be marked as "Reject", but once a pingback is received and the TTL changes to something other than 0, the status will change to "Sold."

Note: If the “Mark lead status as reject, respond publisher with sold” or “Mark lead status as sold” option is enabled, the feature “Mark buyer accept as “0” will be blocked, and vice versa.

Note: This feature will be enabled for all Campaigns related to this Product with the “Default” settings. If it is enabled or disabled for specific Campaigns, the Campaigns’ configuration will override the Product configuration.

Campaign Level Configuration

To set up the “System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0” feature for the Campaign, go to the Client Management > Setup > Campaigns section, click the “Configure” button, and click the “Revenue” tab. On the “Revenue Settings” subtab, select one of the following options in the “System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0” field:

  • Select “Default” to apply the Product settings the Campaign is assigned to.
  • Select “Mark lead status as sold” to make the system mark the lead status as sold for this Campaign, regardless of the Product settings. Note: This option overrides the Product configuration.
  • Select “Mark lead status as reject, respond publisher with reject” to make the system mark the lead status as reject and respond to the Publisher with reject in this Campaign, regardless of the Product settings. Note: This option overrides the Product configuration.
  • Select “Mark lead status as reject, respond publisher with sold” to make the system mark the lead status as reject and respond as sold for the Publisher, regardless of the Product settings. Use case: If the lead’s TTL is 0, it will be marked as "Reject", but once a pingback is received and the TTL changes to something other than 0, the status will change to "Sold." Note: This option overrides the Product configuration.

Mark Buyer Accept as "0"

The Mark Buyer Accept as "0" feature allows you to reflect zero revenue and payout for a lead with the “Sold” status, regardless of the Campaign price.

Product Level Configuration

To set the feature for all the Campaigns of the specific Product, go to the System Management > Products section, click the “Settings” button in the “Actions” column, and select the “Advanced Settings” tab.

Select the preferred option for the “Mark buyer accept as "0" field from the drop-down list:

  • Select the “Yes” option to apply the configuration for all the Campaigns of the selected Product.
    Note: This feature will be enabled for all Campaigns related to this Product with the “Default” settings. If it is enabled or disabled for specific Campaigns, the Campaigns’ configuration will override the Product configuration.
  • Select the “No” option to disable the feature for the selected Product.
    Note: This feature will be enabled for all Campaigns related to this Product with the “Default” settings. If it is enabled or disabled for specific Campaigns, the Campaigns’ configuration will override the Product configuration.

Click the “Save” button to complete.

Note: If the Mark buyer accept as ‘0’” feature is enabled, the System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0feature will be blocked, and vice versa.

Campaign Level Configuration

To set up the “Mark buyer accept as "0"” feature for the Campaign, go to the Client Management > Setup > Campaigns section, click the “Configure” button, and click the “Revenue” tab. On the “Revenue Settings” subtab, select one of the following options in the “Mark buyer accept as "0"” field:

  • Select “Default” to apply the Product settings the Campaign is assigned to.
  • Select “Enabled” to enable the feature for this Campaign, regardless of the Product settings. Note: This option overrides the Product configuration.
  • Select “Disabled” to disable the feature for this Campaign, regardless of the Product settings. Note: This option overrides the Product configuration.

Click the “Save” button to confirm.

Note: If the Mark buyer accept as ‘0’” feature is enabled, the System Behavior on Campaign Price - 0feature will be blocked, and vice versa.
