Publisher Analytics: Publisher Post Errors

The Publisher Post Errors report shows information about each invalid lead along with the lead's timestamp, the referral URL and the submission method, publisher ID, the error type, and the incoming IP.

The Publisher Post Errors report shows information about each invalid lead along with the lead's timestamp, the referral URL and the submission method, publisher ID, the error type, and the incoming IP. A lead may be invalid due to multiple reasons, such as a duplicate lead, a cap-out, or because a lead did not pass filtering.

To view the report go to the Analytics and Optimization > Publisher Analytics > Publisher Post Errors section.

There are three ways to display the report separated into three tabs.

The “Do not Group” tab displays a list of all the invalid leads errors according to the order the error occurred in the system.

To specify the search fill in the filter fields (Date / Publisher Agent / Publisher / Error Type / Time From / Time Till) in the filter block and click the “Search” button.

The list of errors contains all of the general data separated in columns:

  • Date - the date when the error occurred.

  • Hour - the hourly time of the error.

  • Publisher - the name of the Publisher in the system with the inserted hyperlink that redirects you to the list of all the errors for this specific Publisher.

  • Error Type (Authorization Failed / Other / Post Fields Error) - the error type with the inserted hyperlink that redirects you to the list of all the errors with the same type of error.

  • Error Field - displays an exact field that contains incorrect data.

  • Error Count - the total amount of errors.

The “Group by Date” tab displays a list of errors in the system grouped by date.

The “Details” tab displays more detailed data in the list of errors.

The list of errors contains detailed data separated in columns:

  • Time - the date and time when the error occurred in the system.

  • URL - the URL address of the form where the error occurred.

  • Method (GET / POST)

  • Publisher - the name of the Publisher in the system with the inserted hyperlink that redirects you to the list of all the errors for this specific Publisher.

  • Error Type (Authorization Failed / Other / Post Fields Error) - the error type with the inserted hyperlink that redirects you to the list of all the errors with the same type of error.

  • Error Field(s) - displays an exact field that contains incorrect data.

  • ip - incoming IP.

  • Action (Log / Headers).

To review the logs of the error click the “Log” button in the “Action” column of the error record.

To see the headers’ data of the form click the “Headers” button in the “Actions” column.
