The “Publisher Post Errors” report provides a detailed analysis of errors encountered during the lead posting. It includes a breakdown of error types, frequencies, and potential causes. It aims at assisting in pinpointing technical issues and troubleshooting post errors.
To view the report go to the Analytics and Optimization > Publisher Analytics > Publisher Post Errors section.
The report contains three tabs: “Do Not Group”, “Group by Date”, and “Details” tab.
The “Do not Group” tab displays a list of all the invalid post errors according to the order the error occurred in the system. The list is grouped by the particular date and hour along with the corresponding numbers of errors.
You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:
- Date: Select the date range for the report.
- Publisher Agent: Select the Publisher Agent.
- Publisher: Select the Publisher.
- Error Type: Select the type of the occurred post error (Authorization Failed, Duplicate Application, Other, Post Fields Error).
- Time From: Select the starting hour of the day for the time range.
- Time Till: Select the ending hour of the day for the time range.
The list of errors contains the following information:
- Date: The date when the post error occurred.
- Hour: The hourly time of the post error.
- Publisher: The name of the Publisher.
- Error Type: The name of the post error type.
- Error Field: The name of the field that contains incorrect data and where the post error occurred.
- Error Count: The total number of errors.
The “Group by Date” tab contains a list of post errors in the system grouped by date.
You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:
- Date: Select the date range for the report.
- Publisher Agent: Select the Publisher Agent.
- Publisher: Select the Publisher.
- Error Type: Select the type of the occurred post error (Authorization Failed, Duplicate Application, Other, Post Fields Error).
The list of errors contains the following information:
- Date: The date when the post error occurred.
- Publisher: The name of the Publisher.
- Error Type: The name of the post error type.
- Error Field: The name of the field that contains incorrect data and where the error occurred.
- Error Count: The total number of post errors.
The “Details” tab contains the list of detailed data about the occurred post errors.
You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:
- Date: Select the date range for the report.
- Method: Select the HTTP request method (GET, POST).
- Publisher Agent: Select the Publisher Agent.
- Publisher: Select the Publisher.
- Error Type: Select the type of the occurred post error (Authorization Failed, Duplicate Application, Other, Post Fields Error).
The list of errors contains detailed data separated in columns:
- Time: The date and time when the post error occurred in the system.
- URL: The URL address on which the lead with the error was posted.
- Method: The method that was used for the lead with error posting.
- Publisher: The name of the Publisher.
- Error Type: The name of the post error type.
- Error Field(s): The name of the field that contains incorrect data and where the error occurred.
- ip: The IP address from which the post with the error came to the system.
To review the logs of the post error record, click the “Log” button in the “Action” column.
The following information is displayed in the pop-up window:
- TIME: The date and time when the post with errors was sent to the system.
- IP: The IP address from which the post with errors was sent.
- URL: The URL address on which the lead with the error was posted.
- POST: The body of the post with errors. Note: The GET requests do not contain the body. In this case, the parameters sent in the posing URL will be displayed in this field.
- RESPONSE: The response on the post with errors obtained from the system.
To view the headers’ data of the form, click the “Headers” button in the “Action” column.
