Recordings

The “Recordings” report allows you to get an overview of the latest website visitors and visit details.

 

Please note that the page stats are based on the recorded sessions only.

To view the Recordings section, go to the left sidebar and click on Recordings at the top of the menu.

The “Recordings” report contains the following information:

  • Play: The “Play” button launches a video recording of the user's visit.

  • Location: The location of the user.

  • Last seen: Date and time when the user last visited the website.

  • Friction: The friction column shows an average friction score that indicates if users experience issues on the web page. A higher friction score indicates that there might be some roadblocks in the user’s journey on the page: slow opening images, too many questions on the web form, or complex website navigation.

  • Activity: Displays how much time (in seconds) the user was active on the website.

  • Duration: The session duration. The Duration shows how much time the client from a specific state, who works on a specific device with a specific OS, spent on the website.

  • Pages: The number of pages viewed.

  • Visit number: The sequence number of the user's visit for all times.

  • Referrer: The previous website that sent the user to your webpage.

The watched icon appears when the user clicks the play button.

Click the “Pin” icon in the “Actions” column to add the page to your “Pinned.”

Click the “Share” symbol in the “Actions” column to share your page with others:

  • The blue Share symbol in the “Actions” column indicates that the data is being shared.

  • The grey Share symbol indicates that the data is not being shared.

Click the “Edit Comment” symbol in the “Actions” column to edit the comment on the record.

Click the “Delete” button to delete the comment.

  • The blue Edit Comment symbol in the “Actions” column indicates that a comment has been added.

  • The grey Edit Comment symbol indicates there are no comments.

The blue Edit Comment symbol in the “Actions” column indicates that a comment has been added.

The grey Edit Comment symbol indicates there are no comments.

Click the “Visit Details” symbol in the “Actions” column to see the visit details for this record in the pop-up window.

Сlick the drop-down menu icon in the “Actions” column to see the list of available actions.

  • Timeline: The "Timeline" pop-up window displays a brief description for each page that the user visited.

  • Visitor: Enter the name of the visitor.

  • Tags: Select a tag or input a new one.

  • Variables: Variables allow you to sort data into individual categories.

  • Share: Copy the URL link to share a record of the user's visit.

  • Comment: Add a comment to the recording.

  • Download: Click the “Download” button to download this session to your device.

  • User Actions: The “User Actions” pop-up window displays actions that the user committed in this session.

  • Delete: Click the “Delete” to remove the record.

You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:

  • Date: Select the date.

  • Website: Select the website.

  • Device: Select the device (Desktop, Phone, Tablet).

  • Os: Select the Operating System (Android, Chrome OS, Firefox OS, IOS, Linux, Mac, Other Mobile, Windows).

  • Browser: Select the browser (Android Browser, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari).

  • Country: Select the country.

  • Referrer Type: Select the referrer type (Direct Traffic, Search, Social, Website).

  • Returning user: Select “Yes” if you want to include users who have already visited the website. Select “No” if you want to include only new users in the segment.

  • Watched: Select “Yes” to include the viewed recordings. Select “No” to include only not viewed recordings.

  • Pinned: Select “Yes” to include the pinned recordings. Select “No” to include recordings that are not pinned.

  • Duration: Select the duration of the recording.

  • Friction score: Select the friction score (Happy, Unhappy, Very unhappy).

  • Screen resolution: Select the screen resolution of the device.

  • Page view: Select the number of pages viewed.

  • Tags: Select the tag.

  • Variables: Select the variable.

  • Entry page: Select the entry page.

  • Exit page: Select the last page the user was on before leaving the website.

  • Page visited: Select the visited page.

  • Visitor ID/Name: Select the visitor ID or name.

  • Visit ID: Select the ID of the visit.
