Rules

The “Rules” section allows you to search, manage, and create new Rules Groups.

 

To view the Rules list, go to the Affiliates > Rules section.

You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:

  • Affiliate: Select the Affiliate.
  • Status: Select the status of the rule (Active, Deleted).

The Rules list contains the following information:

  • ID: The unique identification number of the rule.
  • Name: The name of the rule.
  • Status: The status of the rule (Active, Deleted).
  • Description: The additional information about the rule.
  • Affiliates: The Affiliates connected to the rule.
  • Rules: The rules applied to the rule group.
  • Date: The time and date the rule was created.

To create a new rule, click the “New” button and fill in the following fields in the “New Rule” pop-up window:

  • Name: Enter the name of the new rule.
  • Description: Enter the text to add additional information for the rule.
  • Affiliates: Select the Affiliates to which the rule is applied.
  • Rule: Select the rule (Operating Systems, Browsers, Affiliate Sub ID, Advertiser Sub ID, Country, Source, IP Scoring).
  • Operator: Select the operator for the rule (is one of, is not one of, is, is not, starts with, does not start with, contains, does not contain, ends with, does not end with).
  • Platforms: Select the platform(s) (Operating Systems rule only).
  • Browsers: Select the browser(s) (Browsers rule only).
  • Countries: Select the country(-ies) (Country rule only).
  • Reject Cloud Providers / Data Centers: Switch the toggle to the “On” position to filter out any data center and cloud provider clicks (IP Scoring rule only).
  • Reject Proxy: Switch the toggle to the “On” position to filter out any proxy clicks (IP Scoring rule only).
  • Reject VPN Connection: Switch the toggle to the “On” position to filter out clicks made through the VPN connection (IP Scoring rule only).
  • Reject by Fraud Score (lower than): Set a maximum fraud score ranging from 0 to 100 for filtering out fraudulent clicks. Any score below this threshold will lead to a rejection (IP Scoring rule only).

Note: The IP Scoring third-party service is a paid feature that must be enabled through the System Management > System Subscriptions section in advance.

To add one more rule, click the “Add Rule” button.

Click the “Save” button to confirm.

To edit the rule, click the “Edit” button in the “Actions” column, make the changes via the “Edit Rule” pop-up window, and click the “Save” button to confirm. 

To delete the rule, click the “Delete” button in the “Action” column and follow the instructions.
