URL Shortener Extractor

The URL Shortener Extractor allows users to extract original URLs from shortened links and encoded parameters. It can be used to identify and analyze the final URLs associated with a short link without manually following the entire redirect chain.

To access the feature, go to the Support > Tools section.

To extract, enter a shortened URL in the “URL” field and click the “Extract” button.

The system will check whether the URL's domain belongs to the list of active URL shorteners configured via the SMS Campaigns > Settings > Links Management section. If the domain is supported, the system will send a request to retrieve the location header. If the resulting URL contains encoded data, the system will split the URL into separate parts, decode the encoded parts, and check whether the decoded values are valid URLs.

Note: Only domains configured as active shorteners can be processed by the URL Shortener Extractor.

All valid URLs found during the extraction are displayed in the “Extracted URLs” block.
