Call-Only Ads Configuration for Google Ads

The article provides information about how to configure Google Ads for the Phonexa Call Logic platform.


Google Ads Report

Google Ads Script in Phonexa

To get the script for the Google Ads under the “Publisher” role, go to the Account Settings > My Profile section, open the “Tracking” tab, and scroll to the “Google Ads” section.

To get the Google Ads script under the “Admin” system role, go to the Publisher Management > Publishers section. Select the Publisher and click the “View” button in the “Actions” column, go to the “Tracking” tab, and scroll to the “Google Ads” section.

Follow the instructions below to add the script to the Google Ads:

  1. Sign in to your Google AdWords account.

  2. Go to the Tools > Bulk Actions > Scripts section and click the “+” button.

3. Click the “Authorize” button in the warning message.

4. Choose your account.

5. Click the “Allow” button.

6. Change the script name to any desired name.

7. Add the Google Ads script that you acquired from the Phonexa system.

8. Click the “Run” button and then the “Run Without Preview” button in the pop-up window.

9. Click the “Authorize” button in the warning message.

10. Choose your account.

11. Click the “Allow” button.

12. Click the “Run” button and then the “Run Without Preview” button in the pop-up window.

13. Go to the “Scripts” tab.

14. Click the “Edit” button in the “Frequency” column.

15. Select “Hourly” in the “Frequency” drop-down list and click the “Save” button.

Google Ads Report

Google Ads report allows you to analyze the performance of Call-Only Ads campaigns that you run in Google Ads using keywords.

To view the Google Ads Report in the Call Logic platform, go to the Analytics and Optimization > Publisher Analytics > Google Ads Report section.

Use the Date, Campaign, AdGroup, or Keyword tabs to group data in the report accordingly.

Note: It is necessary that only the publisher calls with Google AdWords and reports are updated every hour for more accurate data.
