Cloud PBX Tracking Log

The “Tracking Log” section allows you to view the tracking performance along with the log records.

The Tracking Log section provides a comprehensive view of the tracking performance and event logs within the system, making it an essential tool for monitoring and analyzing events triggered across various entities. 

Log records contain information about the type of tracking event, and the results of its processing along with additional log information. 

To view the tracking log report, go to the System Management > Logs > Tracking Log section.

The Tracking Log section contains three tabs:

The “All Events” tab

The “PBX Events” tab

The “Test Runs” tab

 

The “All Events” tab

The “All Events” tab contains information about tracking log records for all system components. 

You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:

  • Date: Select the date range for the report.
  • Host: Enter the name of the host.
  • Entity: Select the preferable entity (Call, Click, Conversion, Lead, Notify, User). 
  • Entity Value: Enter the corresponding entity’s value ID. Depending on the option selected in the “Entity” filter field the following options are available:
    • If the “Call” option is selected, enter the unique identification number of the corresponding call (Call ID).
    • If the “Click” option is selected, enter the unique identification number of the corresponding Click (Click ID). 
    • If the “Conversion” option is selected, enter the unique identification number of the corresponding Conversion (Conversion ID). 
    • If the “Lead” option is selected, enter the unique identification number of the corresponding Lead (Lead ID). 
    • If the “Notify” option is selected, enter the unique identification number of the corresponding notification message (Message ID). 
    • If the “User” option is selected, enter the unique identification number of the corresponding existing user (User ID). 
  • Tracking: Select the scope the tracking rule is applied to.
  • Trigger: Select the event that triggers the action.
  • Action: Select the event tracking type.
  • Preset: Select the corresponding Preset of the tracking rule. 
  • Show URL: Check the box to show the “URL” field containing the generated URL and via which the ongoing tracking rule was processed. 

Depending on the selection in the “Entity” filter field, the following filter fields are available:

  • If the “Call” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Call Group: Select the related Call Group. 
  • If the “Click” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Offer: Select the corresponding Offer. 
    • Goal: Select the Goal that is related to the selected Offer. 
    • Affiliate: Select the related Affiliate. 
  • If the “Conversion” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Offer: Select the corresponding Offer. 
    • Goal: Select the Goal that is related to the selected Offer. 
    • Advertiser: Select the corresponding Advertiser. 
    • Affiliate: Select the related Affiliate. 
  • If the “Lead” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Product: Select the corresponding Product. 
    • Publisher: Select the corresponding Publisher. 
    • Buyer: Select the corresponding Buyer.
    • Campaign: Select the related Campaign. 
    • Pingtree: Select the corresponding PingTree. 
  • If the “Notify” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Notification: Select the corresponding type of the notification. 

The Tracking Log contains the following information:

  • Date: The date and time the tracking log record was created in the system.
  • Entity: The name of the entity along with its unique identification number. 
  • Host: The name of the host website.
  • Tracking: The scope the tracking rule is applied to.
  • Trigger: The event that triggered the action.
  • Action: The integration applied for the rule.
  • Preset: The name of the corresponding Preset that is used for the particular tracking rule. 
  • Response status: The response received from the host.

Additional data fields are displayed according to the corresponding selection in the “Entity” filter field:

  • If the “Call” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Call Group: The name of the related Call Group. 
  • If the “Click” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Offer: The name of the corresponding Offer. 
    • Goal: The particular Goal that is related to the selected Offer. 
    • Affiliate: The name of the related Affiliate. 
  • If the “Conversion” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Offer: The name of the corresponding Offer. 
    • Goal: The particular Goal that is related to the selected Offer. 
    • Advertiser: The name of the corresponding Advertiser. 
    • Affiliate: The name of the related Affiliate. 
  • If the “Lead” option is selected in the “Entity” filter field 
    • Product: The name of the Product. 
    • Publisher: The name of the corresponding Publisher. 
    • Buyer: The name of the Buyer. 
    • Campaign: The name of the related Campaign. 
    • Pingtree: The name of the corresponding PingTree. 

To view a detailed log and response to the event, click the “Log” button in the “Action” column. 

To view sensitive data regarding the tracking log, click the “I confirm to get access” button in the “Log” pop-up window. 

The additional information about the log record will be displayed in the “Log” pop-up window. 

Note: You should have the Two-Factor Authentication enabled to have the option to view the tracking rule log record sensitive data.

The “PBX Events” tab 

The “PBX Events” tab contains information about tracking log records for the Cloud PBX component.  

You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:

  • Date: Select the date range for the report.
  • Host: Enter the name of the host.
  • Entity: The entity available for the PBX component (the “Call” option is available only). 
  • Entity Value: Enter the corresponding unique identification number of the Call. 
  • Tracking: Select the scope the tracking rule is applied to.
  • Trigger: Select the event that triggers the action.
  • Action: Select the event tracking type.
  • Preset: Select the corresponding Preset of the tracking rule. 
  • Call Group: Select the corresponding Call Group. 

The list of the PBX Event tracking logs contains the following information:

  • Date: The date and time the tracking log record was created in the system.
  • Entity: The name of the entity along with its unique identification number (Call ID).
  • Host: The name of the host website.
  • Tracking: The scope the tracking rule is applied to.
  • Trigger: The event that triggered the action.
  • Call Group: The related Call Group. 
  • Action: The integration applied for the rule.
  • Response status: The response received from the host.
  • Preset: The name of the corresponding Preset that is used for the particular tracking rule. 

To view a detailed PBX log and response to the event, click the “Log” button in the “Action” column.

To view sensitive data regarding the tracking log, click the “I confirm to get access” button in the “Log” pop-up window. 

The additional information about the log record will be displayed in the “Log” pop-up window. 

Note: You should have the Two-Factor Authentication enabled to have the option to view the tracking rule log record sensitive data.

The “Test Runs” tab

The “Test Runs” tab contains log records about all test runs for the set tracking rules that were processed through the system by the particular user. 

You can narrow down the search results by using the following filters:

  • Date: Select the date range for the report.
  • Host: Enter the name of the host.
  • Entity: The entity available for the PBX component (the “User” option is available only). 
  • Entity Value: Enter the corresponding unique identification number of the existing user. 
  • Tracking: Select the scope the tracking rule is applied to.
  • Trigger: Select the event that triggers the action (the “Test Run” option is available only).
  • Action: Select the event tracking type.
The list of the processed test runs for the tracking rules contains the following information:
  • Date: The date and time the tracking log record was created in the system.
  • Entity: The name of the entity along with its unique identification number (User ID).
  • Host: The name of the host website.
  • Tracking: The scope the tracking rule is applied to.
  • Trigger: The event that triggered the action (the “Test Run” event).
  • Action: The integration applied for the rule.
  • Response status: The response received from the host.

To view sensitive data regarding the tracking log, click the “Log” button in the “Action” column, then click the “I confirm to get access” button in the “Log” pop-up window. 

The additional information about the log record will be displayed in the “Log” pop-up window. 

Note: You should have the Two-Factor Authentication enabled to have the option to view the tracking rule log record sensitive data.
