How to Manage the Product

In this article, you can learn how to create, enable, disable, and delete the Products in your system. Find the difference in managing Preset and Custom Products.

 

A product is a set of rules, templates, and filters that are applied to traffic to process and redirect it.

You can use Products to separate the traffic that you receive in the system.

To view the list of Products, go to the System Management > Products section.

How to create a Product

To create a new Product, click the “Add Product” button. Select the “Use Preset Product”, “Create Product”, or “Import a Product” option, and fill in the required fields in the pop-up window. Click the “Continue” button to proceed.

Note: When a new product is created, it is automatically activated. Upon completion of the creation process, the Product will have the “Activation” status, and after a while, it will change to “Active” (the activation process might take no more than five minutes).

  • Use Preset Products: This will allow you to enable and use the preset Product template. If needed, you can always disable the template later.

  • Create Product: This option will require inputting details of your new Product. The custom Product will be created and added to your dashboard, where you can manage configurations.

  • Import a Product: This option will require importing a Product from your device. Once the name and file are added, the Product will be added to your dashboard. Note: You can import only the Products previously created with Product Builder. 


Managing Preset Products

To enable the preset Product, go to the System Management > Products section and click the “Add Product” button.

Click the “Use Preset Product” in the “Add Product” pop-up window and select the preset Product from the drop-down list.

To deactivate the preset Product, click the “Disable” button in the corresponding field. Confirm your intention in the “Disable” pop-up window.

Note: The disabled Product will be removed from the list.

unnamed (7)To restore the disabled Preset Product, click the “Add Product” button and select the name of the Product from the drop-down list. Click the “Save” button to proceed.

Note: The preset Product will be restored with all its configurations.

To open the AI Agent page for the particular Product, click the “AI Agent” button, and the system will forward you to the corresponding AI Agent page. 

Note: AI Agents are available only for Call Logic Products. Read more about the AI Agents in the Knowledge Base article.

Managing Custom Products

To add a new custom product, go to the System Management > Products section and click the “Add Product” button.

Click the “Create Product” button in a pop-up window and fill in the following information:

  • Product Name: Enter the name of a Product.
  • Product Type: Select the type of Product.
  • Posting Type: Select the posting type. Note: You can create up to twenty Direct Post products for LMS, up to twenty Direct Call products for Call Logic, and up to thirty Ping Post products. 
  • Industry: Select the industry of the Product.
Click the “Continue” button to complete.

To delete the custom Product, click the “Delete” button in the corresponding field. In the pop-up window, enter the ‘YES’ value to delete the custom Product and click the relevant button to proceed. 

Note: Custom Products are not recoverable and are permanently deleted.

To duplicate the custom Product, click the “Duplicate” button. Choose the origin Product from the drop-down list, and enter the new Product name in a pop-up window. Click the “Create” button to complete.

To rename or change the industry of the custom Product, click the “Edit” button. Enter the new name in the “Product Name” field in the “Edit” pop-up window. Select the Industry in the corresponding field. Click the “Yes” button to apply changes.

To export the custom Product, click the “Export” button. Fill in the required fields and click the “Download” button.

Note: The Custom Product will be downloaded in JSON format.

To open the AI Agent page for the particular Product, click the “AI Agent” button, and the system will forward you to the corresponding AI Agent page. 

Note: AI Agents are available only for Call Logic Products. Read more about the AI Agents in the Knowledge Base article.

To configure the custom Product, click the “Settings” button in the “Actions” column.

Managing Imported Products

To import a new Product, go to the System Management > Products section and click the “Add Product” button.

Click the “Import a Product” button and fill in the following information in the “Add Product” pop-up window:

  • Product Name: Enter the name of a new Product. 

Click the “Choose File” button to import the file, and then click the “Save” button to complete. Note: only JSON files are allowed.

To delete the imported Product, click the “Delete” button in the corresponding field. In the pop-up window, enter the “YES” value to delete the Product and click the relevant button to proceed. 

Note: Imported Products are not recoverable and are permanently deleted.
