The Payment Settings tab allows you to select and configure payment methods for Publisher payout processing and view the payment history.
Note: This tab is available only to users logged in as Publishers.
To access this tab, go to the Account Settings > My Profile section, then select the “Payment Settings” tab. Alternatively, you can access it through the My Profile Modal Window in the upper-right corner of the page. The Payment Settings tab contains two blocks:
Payment Settings
The “Payment Settings” block allows you to set up the payment method for the Publisher payout. You can choose different payment methods depending on the selected currency.
To set up the Publisher’s payout process, select the preferable payment method in the "Payment Type" field and fill in the fields displayed depending on the selected type:
PayPal
PayPal is a digital payment platform that allows individuals and businesses to send and receive money online. Fill in the following fields when paying with this method:
- Payment Type: Select the PayPal option for the Publisher payment processing.
- PayPal Account: Enter the Publisher's PayPal account.
Wire
Wire is a method of transferring money electronically from one bank account to another, both domestically and internationally. Fill in the following fields when paying with this method:
- Payment Type: Select the Wire option for the Publisher payment processing.
- Name of Account: Enter the name of the account.
- Bank Name: Enter the name of the bank.
- Account Number: Enter the account number.
- ABA or Swift Code: Enter the ABA or Swift Code.
- Bank Address: Enter the bank address.
- Bank Phone: Enter the bank phone number.
- Account Owner Address: Enter the account owner's address.
- Account Owner Phone: Enter the account owner's phone number.
- Pay In Local Currency: Select “No” if you do not want to get payment in the local currency. Select “Yes” if you wish to get paid in the local currency.
- Please Select Your Currency: If you selected “Yes” in the previous field, select the currency.
- Intermediary Bank: Select “No” if you do not want to use the services of the intermediary bank. Select “Yes” if you wish to use the services of an intermediary bank. In this case, you need to enter the details of the intermediary bank.
ACH
ACH is an electronic funds transfer system used for direct deposits, bill payments, and other transactions in the United States. Fill in the following fields when paying with this method:
- Payment Type: Select the ACH option for the Publisher payment processing.
- Name of Account: Enter the name of the account.
- Bank Name: Enter the name of the bank.
- Account Number: Enter the Publisher's account number.
- ABA Or Swift Code: Enter the ABA or Swift Code.
- Bank Address: Enter the bank address.
- Bank Phone: Enter the bank phone number.
- Account Owner Address: Enter the account owner's address.
- Account Owner Phone: Enter the account owner's phone number.
- Pay In Local Currency: Select “No” if you do not want to get payment in the local currency. Select “Yes” if you wish to get paid in the local currency.
- Please Select Your Currency: If you selected “Yes” in the previous field, select the currency.
- Intermediary Bank: Select “No” if you do not want to use the services of the intermediary bank. Select “Yes” if you wish to use the services of an intermediary bank. In this case, you need to enter the details of the intermediary bank.
Check
Check is a written order directing a bank to pay a specific amount of money to the person or organization named on the check. Fill in the following fields when paying with this method:
- Payment Type: Select the Check option for the Publisher payment processing.
- Check Details: Enter the Check details.
Stripe
Stripe is a payment processing platform that enables businesses to accept and manage online payments. Fill in the following fields when paying with this method:
- Payment Type: Select the Stripe option for the Publisher payment processing.
- Address: Enter the Publisher's account number.
Note: The "Stripe" payment type can be enabled only for US Publishers via Books360. Read more about how to set up Stripe as a payment method in our Knowledge Base article.
Tipalti
Tipalti is a global payment automation system that pays out funds using ACH bank details. Fill in the following fields when paying with this method:
- Payment Type: Select the Tipalti option for the Publisher's payment processing.
- Account: Enter the account number.
Note: The "Tipalti" payment type can be enabled via Books360. Read more about how to set up Tipalti as a payment method in our Knowledge Base article.
Payment History
The “Payment History” block allows you to view all of the recent payouts made to the Publisher’s account. The list of transactions contains the following information:
- ID: The ID number of the payout in the system.
- Product: The name of the Product.
- Number: The number of the payout.
- Date: The date the payout was processed.
- Period: The period for which the payout is created.
- Amount: The amount of the payout that is added to the Publisher’s balance.
To fill out the W9 form, which provides your accurate Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to the individual required to submit an information return to the IRS, click the “Form W9” button.
To get a copy of the payout document, click the “Download” button.
